Chris Trenholme is a full-time Event Manager with a multi-sport games agency in British Columbia, an international level badminton player, and a former U.S. National Team Coach and Manager, this born and raised Victorian has lived, worked, and experienced sport around the world. After completing the last semester of his University of Victoria Leisure Service Administration Degree by correspondence while in Gothenburg, Sweden, he went on to work for USA Badminton, USA Field Hockey, and USA Wrestling, before coming back to Victoria to "re-pursue" his athletic career as a top men's singles badminton player. Since 2001, he has worked as one of five Event Managers for the BC Games Society while maintaining a tough training, travel and competition schedule as an athlete. Jim McConkey is  a pioneer and a legend in mountain sports in Western Canada. He was a key player in Whistler Mountain's  development. His experience in the early stages of skiing in Canada is full of great lessons for anyone interested in business development. His stories of adventure on the slopes , at ski shows and in ski films are the stuff of legions. Fifties years after his first craning, he is still a registered ski instructor.

Cliff Kennell loves the adrenaline rush that comes with his job. While he's been involved with sports since he was a kid, just after high school he met a family who loved bike racing. The impact of their role modeling and his subsequent career in racing changed his life. His 'day job' is with the City of Victoria Fire Department. He also is personal trainer for athletes, including the #1 Iron Man in Canada.

He brings stories of team work, personal improvement and personal trauma with an intensity that few us have experienced.

Irene Schell

Irene has volunteered and worked for various non-profit organizations for over 18 years. Her involvement has ranged from serving at the Executive Directors, to working on a committee, to chairing the Board. \

Irene is currently the Chair of ProMOTION Plus, the provincial organization for girls and women in sport and physical activity.

In her professional career, Irene has been an Event Manager with the BC Games Society for the past seven and a half years. In her position, Irene provides support and resources to community volunteers as they plan and stage the BC Games.

Irene is also one of two Sport BC Investigative Officer responsible for investigating complaints of harassment in the BC sport system, a facilitator of the United Way 's Volunteer Leadership Development Program, and is in her eighth year as an In-school Mentor . Irene has also served on Boards and Committees for service organizations and Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
