what students got from Greg Batters
I think these interviews were very interesting. They showed us people with ideas that are not normally so accessible and open to so many questions.
I thought it was cool that Mr. Batters told us how hockey and his job as a fire fighter related to one another. I was quite surprised how open the both of them were with us
He proved that you don't have to go through high school by studying, and stressing yourself out by doing piles and piles of homework.. What matters is how you deal with people around you. Interacting with people in your everyday lives is the best way to learn something new.

Some ideas that stood out for me during Greg Batters's presentation were:
1. Try to level out your ups and downs (try to find the good when things go wrong, and be grateful when things go well).
2. When you get back up after failing it is a success.
3. Fear is good, when you are scared you are aware of what is going on around you.
4. If you are prepared, you have a small margin for mistake.
5. What you do in high school does not necessarily affect what you will end up doing.
- 6. If you do nothing with your life it is hard to become something
