Learning as you go along..

what students learned from Irene Schell

You should always be open to opportunities, because if not, then you might let an amazing offer slip.

Ask somebody who has skills, then learn new things from them.

Just try. that's all you can do when you try to do something new and you are scared of starting new things.

i learned from her that a leader comes in many different forms. She works at the bc games and though she is not screaming out to try to make a difference she is still slowing making a difference in her community.

From Irene, I learned not to dwell on mistakes, and never to regret you actions. All anyone can ever ask for is your best, and if you truly think you did everything you could, don.t worry what others think. If you don’t know how to do something right away, don’t give up, find a way to learn the skill.

You're never going to get anywhere if you don't ask. Reaching out when you need help is the best way to learn new things.

While listening to Irene Schell, I learnt that regret should not be dwelled upon! You must learn from the mistakes you have made, think of them as a lesson, and then use your new knowledge to carry on, making sure that you will now not make that same mistake.

I also learnt the importance of volunteering. That volunteering helps to make you a better person and it also helps the lives of the people around you, or that are in your life. Volunteering can lead to many great oppurtunities.
