There are many brilliant people in our world,
most that we'll never meet or even hear about
The people that spoke today were only two of those

what students said about Admiral John Anderson ( ret)

Communication is the number one key to being a good leader, being able to not only delegate but also being able to listen to what others have to say. Another point which he made which stood out greatly in my mind was how he said that the military is a reflection of the country and the county's social issues.

That they talked about primarily regarding teamwork and leadership could be very helpful in today's high school classes.

It counts to be noticed. That way people know what you are capable of and they can then make opinions on you.

He was an amazing presenter. John really tried to answer every question with a story behind it and used the time with us. Another thing is he didn't treat us like children he really took our questions seriously. I like it when he was talking about his role models, he never said just one he said he respected everyone he worked for

He talked about motivation. I also like how John Anderson said how it counts to be noticed. That way people know what you are capable of and they can then make opinions on you.

He told me that in the military that when plan A goes wrong you need a plan B and you won't always have one but it is there job to come up with a solution and that no matter what as a team you can always come up with a solution. I thought that would be very useful in our Leadership class.
